It was more of the same in the second set as the Lions again built a 9-2 lead to start the frame before finishing it off 25-20. The offense for the Lions proved to be too much for the Jersey Blues to handle as Olivia Sims led the way with 13 kills. Brittany Jensen notched 10 on the day and Kelly Delaney was one kill away from registering a double double as she finished with 9 kills to go with her 12 digs. Bri Rojas again paced the defense with 14 digs while Rachel Hatto added 9 of her own. The Lions had 9 service aces on the day, led by Izabela Bar's 3. Bar eclipsed 30 assists for the 6th time this season as she finished with 32 on the day.
The Lions finished Garden State Athletic Conference play with a perfect 16-0 record while completing Region XIX play at 17-2. For the six sophomores this is a back to back championship as the team captured the conference title last year as well. The Lions finish the regular season with an away contest at Nassau on Tuesday and Sophomore Night at home on Wednesday at 6 PM against Delaware Tech.
