Lions Take Second In Region XIX Qualifier

High Bridge, NJ-- The RVCC Golf team finished in second place in the Region XIX Qualifier on Wednesday. The Lions finished with a team score of  328. The tourney consisted of 16 teams from Region XIX, and Harrisburg Area Community College took first place with a score of 325. 

Held at High Bridge Hills golf course, par on the day was 72. Leading the Lions with a team low was sophomore Raymark Abogado with a 78. Sophomore Christian Lauchaire and freshman Casey Lawrence each shot an 81, and freshman Michael Campbell finished the day with an 88. 

With the second place finish, the Lions are among the nine teams that qualify for the Region XIX Championship which will take place at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ on May 8th and 9th.
