Edralin Reaches 50 Career Hits, Hamilton Hits 5th HR
North Branch, NJ – The RVCC Softball team and Baseball team both got swept by Lehigh Carbon Community College on Wednesday, April 17th. The baseball team lost 9-1 in the first and 6-2 in the second. Softball lost 16-5 in game one and 14-2 in the second one.
Sophomore Claudia Edralin eclipsed 50 total career hits in the second game of the doubleheader. She is now batting .433 on the season and boasts the best on-base percentage on the team at .500.
Freshman Paul Hamilton belted his 5th home run on the year, accounting for both runs scored by the Lions in game two. Hamilton’s .529 slugging percentage leads the team.
