The RVCC Men's Basketball team played host to the Blue Jays of Manor College in hopes of ending their two-game losing streak. Freshman guard, Emmanuel Brown (Philadelphia, PA), had a strong day on the court for the Lions leading RVCC in scoring with 32 points which included converting on 10 of 12 attempts from the charity stripe and 58% shooting from the field overall. The Lions, who went into the half trailing 44-39, came out in the second half with an offensive intensity and attack that Manor College couldn't match. RVCC, which scored an impressive 62 points in the second half, were able to convert momentum shifting fast-break dunks along with timely 3-pointers in route to a 101-93 victory.

With the win, the Lions improve to (8-13 overall, 5-8 region) and will next take the floor this Tuesday, February 12th, at 7PM in a Region 19 home match-up against the Wolverines of Essex County College. Come out to the gym and support your LIONS!
