Men's Basketball Wraps Holiday Presents

On Wednesday December 19th the Raritan Valley Men's Basketball Team wrapped presents at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. The team volunteered their time and gift wrapping skills to benefit the Plainfield Area Humane Society. Shoppers at the mall stopped by the booth located on the third floor outside of Macy's and had the team wrap all presents big and small. After a few trials, some ripped wrapping paper, and a lot of tape the team proved to be very coachable and turned out some very well wrapped presents. All of the donations made by the shoppers went directly to the Plainfield Area Humane Society.
The Lions finished up the first semester with a 3-8 overall record. The second half of the season looks to be promising as the young team has gained some confidence and has been playing together much better. The Lions open up the New Year on the road at Montgomery County Community College January 10th.
