Marvin Crawford and Desmond Cotton Named To All-Conference Team!

The Raritan Valley Community College Athletics Department would like to congratulate Marvin Crawford(Freshman, Edison, NJ) and Desmond Cotton(Freshman, East Orange, NJ) on being named to the 2013 Garden State Athletic Conference All-Conference team.

Marvin Crawford, who was selected to the All-GSAC 1st team, led the Golden Lions in scoring, rebounding, and field goal percentage during his freshman campaign and finished the season averaging 20.7 ppg, 7.7 rpg while shooting a blistering 59.4% from the field.  Marvin finished his fabulous freshman season #18 in the country in scoring and #21 in field goal percentage in the country!

Desmond Cotton, who was selected to the All-GSAC 2nd team, was the Golden Lions floor general during his freshman season.  Desmond led RVCC with 6.8 apg while adding an additional 8.3 ppg and 3.7 rpg.  Desmond's spectacular freshman year ended with him #4 in assists per game in the country and #13 in assists to turnover ratio in the country at 4.2:1!
