Aaron Kalb Named Head Coach of the Golden Lions Baseball Program

      Raritan Valley Community College is pleased to announce the hiring of Aaron Kalb as the new Baseball Head Coach.  Aaron brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the RVCC baseball program from both his playing and coaching days.  Coach Kalb is looking to instill a new mindset into the RV baseball program and bring upon a winning culture.

      Aaron, who holds the position of Math Teacher at the Bonnie Brae School, is no stranger to the NJCAA or Region XIX.  Coach Kalb most recently served as the lead assistant and pitching coach for the Titans of the County College of Morris; a position he has held for the past 2 seasons.  In addition to those duties, Coach Kalb was also responsible for recruiting, strength & conditioning and nutrition planning.  Both seasons at Morris proved to be a success as the Titans reached Region XIX postseason play both years.

      Prior to coaching, Aaron had an extensive playing career which included playing NCAA Division I college baseball in the Big East Conference as a member of Rutgers University from 2001-2005.  Following his intercollegiate career, Aaron went on to play professionally for the Traverse City Beach Bums of the Frontier League (2006), St. George Roadrunners of the Can-Am league (2007), Alexandria Aces of the Continental League (2009), El Paso Diablos of the Frontier League (2010) and for the Newark Bears of the Can-Am League (2011).

      Coach Kalb, who has a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics with a minor in psychology and a Master's Degree in Statistics with an Option in Biostatistics, both from Rutgers Unviersity, currently, resides in Chatham, NJ.
